With the Celebration Edition, new players don't have ways to spend their credits and crystals, so new cosmetic items are always nice. It's a lot less work than having to make new maps and balance them. I'm sure most players would be happy for a co-op version of Arcade, Galactic Assault or Starfighter Battles. ![]() ![]() An easy workaround is to just expand more scenarios into co-op. ![]() New maps and gameplay modes are always nice, but there's no shortage of maps, so even one or two new maps released in a year would already be plenty to keep players happy. Just patch out the most pressing technical and balance issues, and put in some quality of life fixes, like giving proper map names and letting you upgrade your character as you earn points without needing to exit from a match. They don't need to deliver a new update every month. With literally a million new users on PC, it's a huge wasted opportunity to expect the new players to sit and wait until BF3 hits. ![]() I think with the huge influx of new players into BF2 with the Epic Store giveaway, EA should seriously reconsider reviving support for the game. ![]()
